KAKE-TV is sponsoring a fund raiser on Thursday, Feb. 2 with the intention of raising $60,000.00 for Passageways.  This will enable us to have the necessary down payment for the purchase of the home that we are currently using for our living center. 

Passageways was created in 2014 by Jennifer and Susan after seeing a story about a veteran who died under a bridge. He was all alone. We decided that was unacceptable and started working towards giving a hand up to veterans who were homeless or near homeless. Passageways is a hybrid living center providing a holistic approach to ending the cycle of homelessness among veterans.

We are currently leasing the house and the landlord is anxious to sell the property. We need your help in raising enough funds to purchase the house. Three banks have denied our application for a loan because we haven't been in business long enough. However, one bank said they would write the loan if we are able to provide a $60,000 down payment.
